GLASGOW - CELTIC midfielder Scott Brown has insisted he is happy in Glasgow and has no immediate intentions of pursuing a big-money move to the English Premier League.

The 23-year-old Scotland international has been linked with a 9 million (S$19 million) transfer to Portsmouth while Tottenham are also reported to be keen on acquiring his services.

Brown, however, is happy for manager Gordon Strachan to reject all offers.

'I'm a Celtic player and I'm enjoying it just now,' the former Hibs star said.

'I want to keep that going. I'm enjoying winning games and looking forward to the future.

'It's fine if no-one is sold because I'm happy here.

'The thing is everyone wants to play Champions League and UEFA Cup football. We were disappointed that we didn't get further this year, but there's always next year.' -- AFP
