FANS can watch the inaugural Asian Youth Games (AYG) from June 29-July 7 on television - in addition to live action online.

Official broadcaster StarHub TV is dedicating four channels (Ch 118-121) to the Games' broadcast - at no additional cost to subscribers.

Non-subscribers can also enjoy live coverage of the Games, including the opening ceremony, aquatics and table tennis, free of charge via the Preview Channel (Ch 01).

Slow sales for AYG tickets

FERVENT support can inspire top performances, as Jabez Su, who has played in front of over 1,200 people, will attest.

But, at next week's Asian Youth Games (AYG), the Singapore basketball team skipper may not get that extra boost.

Yesterday, AYG organisers revealed that only 265 of the 1,376 tickets for the four-day basketball competition at Anglican High School had been sold.
