AYG Village officially opens

THE Asian Youth Games Village at Swissotel the Stamford was officially opened on Friday by Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for National Development and Education.

It will house athletes and officials involved in the inaugural event, which starts on Monday and ends on July 7.

About 1,400 athletes and several hundred officials from 43 countries are expected to participate in the nine-sport event.
