2nd AYG gold for S'pore

Singapore bowlers Darshini Khrishna and New Hui Fen led from the start of the girls' doubles event to bag the Republic's second gold medal of the Asian Youth Games.

According to a report on the AYG website, the duo put in their highest score during the first of six games. From then on, they confidently held on to their lead.

Thailand took the silver, while South Korea bagged the bronze.
