Three more swimming medals

Quah Ting Wen and Amanda Lim made another gold and silver medal finish at the 100m freestyle this evening.

Quah touched home in 55.57 sec to rapturous applause from the crowd at the Singapore Sports School. Amanda Lim clocked her silver medal finish in 56.24 sec.

South Korea's Kim Junghye took the bronze in 56.39 sec.

The Singapore team of Koh Hui Yu, Quah Ting Wen, Lynette Lim and Amanda Lim also won the 4x100m freestyle relay.

They streaked ahead of the competition by two body lengths and finished in 3 min 46.91 sec to take the gold.

In second and third place were Korea and China respectively.
