JAKARTA - Firebrand Singapore striker Noh Alam Shah is taking his robust style of soccer to Indonesia after signing for Super League side Arema Malang.

The 29-year-old, who served a seven-month ban for a violent attack on international team mate Daniel Bennett during the 2007 Singapore Cup final, joined the East Java side on a season-long deal, the Jakarta Globe reported.

Regarded as one of the best goal-poachers in the region, Shah boasts a record of 28 goals in 63 appearances for Singapore and 108 goals in 133 matches for Tampines Rovers.

Arema Malang, nicknamed the Crazy Lions, are also targetting two of Shah's international team mates - Baihakki Khaizan of S.League's Geylang United and Tampines' Mustafic Fahrudin, manager Rendra Kresna said.

"We're optimistic that we can reach a deal with them, and they will likely come to Malang next week," Rendra told the newspaper.
