LONDON, ENGLAND - Britain's Andy Murray has split up with his girlfriend Kim Sears after a four-year relationship, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

Sears, a 21-year-old student, has moved out of the home she shared with Murray and returned home to her parents, the Mail on Sunday said.

A friend of Murray, the world number four, told the paper: 'There were no blazing rows, or anything like that.

'Kim left Andy's house under amicable circumstances. They are still in contact with one another and remain good friends.'

Sears became a familiar face to tennis fans as she followed the 22-year-old Scot around the world circuit, but she was absent when Murray played in the ATP World Tour Finals in London this week.
