ROME, ITALY - Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho was on Thursday fined 13,000 euros ($25,000) for having insulted an Italian journalist following a game in December.

Mourinho allegedly told Andrea Ramazzotti of the Corriere dello Sport to 'get lost you son of a bitch' after finding the journalist in a restricted area reserved for his players following a match in Bergamo against Atalanta on December 13.

The Football Federation's disciplinary commission said the fine was also for having grabbed Ramazzotti by the arm.

Inter were themselves fined 20,000 euros for having failed to control their coach.

At the time of the incident, Mourinho explained that he was fed up with finding journalists, and Ramazzotti in particular, in the area around the team coach following matches.
