Russians sweep rhythmic gymnastics finals

Russian gymnasts continued their winning streak at Bishan Sports Hall yesterday as they won both the individual and group all-around rhythmic gymnastics finals.

In the individuals early in the afternoon, Alexandra Merkulova claimed gold with a score of 103.5 points. Inspired by Merkulova's gold, the Russian team followed in her footsteps to win gold with 52.35 points, over seven poaints ahead of silver medallists Egypt.
