PARIS - Poland's Robert Kubica will swap his Renault Formula One machine for a Renault Clio 1600 when he competes in the Antibes Rally, according to race organisers Thursday.

Kubica is known to be passionate about rally driving and has already taken part in the Rally of the Var region in south-eastern France, the Monte Carlo rally and several other rallies in Italy.

This weekend's event, which includes 14 special stages totalling 259km, is the penultimate leg of the European Rally Championship (ERC).
