Dayyan Jaffar, only Singaporean to carry Olympic torch in relay
Team Singapore athlete Dayyan Jaffar will have the honour of carrying the Olympic torch during the London 2012 torch relay on Monday, July 16. The 19-year-old is the only Singaporean athlete participating in the torch relay.
The national archer, who is also a Coca-Cola Athlete Ambassador, will take part in Day 59 of the torch relay, near Brighton, on Leg 119. The journey will start at around 5.53pm, covering a distance of 350 yards, and will end at about 5.56pm.
