PARIS, FRANCE - US technology giant Apple is to open its first store in France on November 7 in a shopping centre next to the legendary Louvre museum in Paris, an informed source told AFP on Wednesday.

The shop in the Carrousel du Louvre centre will cover an area of 700 square metres (7,535 square feet), the source said on condition of anonymity.

Apple often shrouds its store openings and product launches in secrecy and declined to confirm this report when contacted by AFP.
