>LOP BURI, THAILAND - The second pilot of an Air Force plane was killed when the plane crashed while taking off at a military airport here Friday morning.
Police said Flying Officer Pongsakorn Thatinuwat was killed inside his seat.
The first pilot, Flying Officer Thossapol Dejsupha, and three mechanics suffered slight injuries.
The accident happened shortly after 10 am.
The plane's engines developed a malfunction, causing it crash shortly after it took off, police said.
