FANS of America's Next Top Model might enjoy seeing an Asian take on the show. The second season of Supermodel Me is back, with a new line-up of 12 budding model-wannabes desperate to make a name for themselves.

The models will have to ace challenging tasks, all in a bid to nab a grand prize of $20,000 in cash and a cover spread in a fashion magazine.

Calls for auditions attracted more than 2,000 applicants from countries such as Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and China.

To get a sneak peek before the show airs next January, check out the show's video website and suss out the hits and misses from the audition clips.

Look out for the two Singaporeans who managed to make the cut for the top 12 - Japan- born Singaporean student Emiko Thien, who plays football, and former Miss World Singapore 2007 Roshni Soin.
