K-pop star to be fined for drunk driving in Seoul

Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul, the Thai-American member of the K-pop group 2PM, who was booked in South Korea for driving under the influence, will be fined 4 million Korean won (about Bt109,000), a statement from the attorney-general in Seoul said yesterday.

The statement said the investigation had been concluded.

Last month, the 23-year-old pop star had a minor collision with a motorcycle at around 2.45am in Seoul's upscale Gangnam area. He decided to temporarily leave the country and stopped all activities after the accident.
