Eason's wife reacts to drug rumours

Hong Kong - About a week after her name was dragged into a drug scandal, singer Eason Chan's wife has responded with a hint that she is innocent.

According to Ming Pao Daily News, style blogger Hilary Tsui revealed on Weibo on Tuesday that she had received a supportive note saying: "Evil can't win! Justice!"

The post came after reports last week about a video that supposedly shows celebrities taking drugs in a restaurant owned by actress Suki Chui's husband, businessman Kenny Wee.

Although the stars were not identified in the reports, Tsui's name was tossed up in the tabloid guessing game that ensued.

On Tuesday, a report said she had gone to Japan for retail therapy after a quarrel with Chan over the scandal.

Asked about the report, the singer's manager said: "He's in a good mood. I trust that he's a big boy and that he will face these rumours with his family."
