He was a teacher at River Valley High School.
On April 18, Chua Ren Cheng, 31, was among four men charged with having commercial sex with a minor.
For $750, he allegedly slept with Miss XXX, as she is known in court documents, at Strand Hotel on Dec 22, 2010, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
He arrived at the Subordinate Courts two hours early, at 12.30pm, zipped up in a blue hoodie, with sunglasses and a surgical mask.
But in court, he wore a white long-sleeved shirt with dark coloured trousers. Chua took the stand and he said he intended to plead guilty.
When he left the courtroom, he disappeared into a nearby toilet before re-appearing in his earlier disguise minutes later.
He declined to comment when approached by The New Paper.
Another man charged was Swiss national Buergin Juerg, 40, who was led into the courtroom handcuffed as no one had posted bail for him.
He is said to have been working in the banking industry.
He is understood to have quit his job earlier this year.
For $600, Juerg allegedly slept with Miss XXX at Shangri-La Hotel on Sept 29, 2010, and again at Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Jan 3 last year, for $650.
A bail review will be held for him on April 20.
His lawyer Selva K. Naidu, told the court: "He's not pleading guilty today."
