Manulife Singapore ATP Challenger returning for second year

The Manulife Singapore ATP Challenger 2012 is returning to Singapore this year.

Organised by the Singapore Tennis Association and Sports Management Group, the tournament will feature some of the world's up and coming professional tennis players, who will play from Feb 25 to March 4 at The Singapore Island Country Club.

The Manulife Singapore ATP Challenger tournament is part of the ATP Challenger Tour which forms a series of tennis tournaments, and is considered as the second highest level of competition for professional male tennis players.

Players will compete in a knockout format where 32 single players and 16 double teams will compete for ATP ranking points, and a total prize of US$50,000 (S$63,300).

Tickets to the Manulife Singapore ATP Challenger 2012 will be made available on a first come first serve basis via online registration at www.singaporeatpchallenger.com.

Members of the public can also register at the ticketing booths at The Singapore Island Country Club (Bukit Location) on match days if they wish to attend.
