Olympics: Gary Yeo clocks new personal best in 100m sprint

LONDON - Singapore sprinter Gary Yeo has beaten his personal best timing in the men's 100m preliminary round on Saturday morning at the Olympic Stadium.

He clocked 10.57secs to qualify for Round 1 of the event and finished second in his heat, The Straits Times reported.

Yeo's previous best was 10.62secs.

He is scheduled to run again at about 7.30pm Singapore time.
