Singaporean Laurentia Tan takes silver at Paralympics

Equestrian rider Laurentia Tan took her second medal at the London Paralympics on Wednesday when she won silver in the Grade Ia individual freestyle test.

The para-equestrian rider already has a bronze win from the individual championship test.

Tan scored 79.000 points during her event on Wednesday. Britain's Sophie Christiansen came in first while Ireland's Helen Kearney came in third.

The London-based Paralympian was born with cerebral palsy and profound deafness.
