The NTUC Income Run 350, organised by Young NTUC, will be held on April 7 with the starting point at The Float @ Marina Bay.
The run is unique in that it is the only mass running event in Singapore with a green message. It seeks to raise awareness for the global 350 movement, which highlights the upper safety limit for carbon dioxide, which scientists believe should be at 350 parts per million for humanity to continue.
Organised since 2010, this year's run is expected to attract 15,000 runners, and will feature three categories: the 21km run, the 10km run and the 350m kids' dash.
Registration fees range between $10 and $50. Visit www.run350.com to sign up. The deadline is Feb 28.
Meanwhile, the 10th edition of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge will be held on April 18. Starting on the Esplanade Bridge with the finish line adjacent to the Formula One Pit Building, the 5.6km team run/walk encourages companies to put work aside on a work day for a spot of fun and fitness.
It is open to full-time employ- ees of local businesses and corporations. Registration is now open at www.jpmorgan.com/cc and each company must enter a minimum of four employees.
