Excessive banners at Poly?

I am staying at Blk 893, Tampines Street 81, just across Temasek Polytechnic. I noticed so many gigantic banners were put up on the campus buildings and car parks since a few days go. I believe they are dressing up for their open house. Many other new signs were also put up within the compound. I think it is really excessive and a waste of money.

The same rhetorical message 'Why TP' is repeated over and over again. Some pictures are just simply awful, depicting a guy coiled all over with wires as though a nerd is trying to hang himself. I can't figure out the message they are trying to convey to students. Some banners are below huge trees and I can only see them partially. There are far too many banners and signs and many were put at the wrong locations.

The polytechnic concerned should review their publicity effort and choose a more cost-effective and efficient way of doing it.
