Dangerous railings at Bugis divider

The New Paper

THE two metal railings on the centre divider between Bugis Junction and Bugis Village are a danger to both pedestrians and motorists.

In the event that an out-of-control vehicle rams into the divider, there is no room for the crowd to escape.

Hundreds of pedestrians could be injured because of an ensuing stampede.

The Land Transport Authority should remove these two railings and convert the crossing into an ordinary pedestrian crossing.
