I AM writing this to commend the bus captain of SBS bus service number 143 (SBS 9815H).

On 18 Jan, I had overslept and would have been late for work, but when he saw me running towards the bus at the bus stop in Pandan Gardens, he waited for me and I made it to work on time.

Throughout the journey, I noticed that he constantly looked out for anybody running towards the bus at bus stops.

He would also wait patiently for elderly passengers to be seated before he moved out of the bus bay.

Once, he even got out to assist an elderly man who had difficulty walking, by helping him board and alight the bus.

In addition, he gave out the bus route guide to several tourists on the bus.

I salute him for being a patient and reliable bus driver.
