The New Paper

I REFER to the report on the new move to nab drunken drivers.

I strongly support the idea of the traffic police deploying more road blocks around entertainment outlets and creating "ring fences".

I think it's time to start stricter enforcement before it's too late.

I suggest that entertainment outlets put up more warnings on drink driving at their premises, and bartenders or club managers should also warn patrons to take public transport instead of drive. It's best done before they enter the club.

Yes, going for a drink is a merry activity where you can let loose, but you have to think of others too.

The public should play their part and keep in mind the dangers of drink driving.

If you want to have fun, don't drive if you are a drinker. Go with someone who doesn't drink and who will be the designated driver.
