I JUST returned from overseas and thought I should take a drive and have a walk around Chinatown to take in the sights, sounds and lights of this year's Lunar New Year festivities.

I was most puzzled and was hard pressed to explain to my 15-year-old daughter why some of the decorations have a Disney theme.

I think we spotted Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Daffy and certainly Winnie the Pooh.

Is there any reason why we've gone Disney this Lunar New Year?

Can the organisers of these street decorations please comment?
