I WAS pretty excited about the Singapore Airshow and I purchased tickets to go with my friend.

We went in the morning as it was open from 9.30am.

Those who complained about paying $20 and didn't get to see any aerial show, well, they can only blame themselves for not going early, instead of putting the fault on the airshow.

As for the long queues for the shuttle buses, they were unavoidable, given the overwhelming response to the show.

I would say that the Singapore Airshow was a success.

I am proud of the organisers as well as our airforce.
