Disgusted by disregard for human life

The New Paper

I READ with utter disgust the report "Bochap uncle makes her blood boil" (The New Paper, 21 Feb).

It reveals the ugly side of a few human beings, their total disregard for a fellow human being in distress.

I fully agree with miss Atika that if "that uncle" had called for the ambulance earlier, the two boys (in the recent Old Upper Thomson Road accident) might have survived.

In such cases, a few minutes can make a difference between life and death.

I take my hat off to the four young people, Atika, Abdul Razak Juma'in, Ain Iris and Syaiful. These are the kind of people the world needs.

And that "bochap uncle" should remember this. If you ever need help and nobody lifts a finger, you will know the meaning of retribution.
