I AM a 70-year-old retiree with zero balance in my Central Provident Fund (CPF) Ordinary Account and about $22,000 in my Medisave account.

There is a rumour that after a CPF member's death, his Medisave balance cannot be withdrawn by nominees, but will be transferred to the nominees' Medisave account.

Could CPF clarify this?
