More recognition for Paralympians
Thu, Sep 18, 2008
my paper

CONGRATULATIONS to Laurentia Tan and her parents for doing us proud in the Paralympic Games.

Sadly, despite all the talk about making Singapore disabled-friendly, she has not been given due recognition.

Besides the discrepancy in the cash rewards given to disabled and able-bodied athletes, were the Paralympians given a heroes? welcome?

To all Paralympians: Well done!

Mr David Soh Poh Huat
