Migrating can add to woes

I REFER to the letter, "Grass isn't necessarily greener for those living abroad" (my paper, Sept 29).

Singaporeans contemplating migration must wake up to the fact that no country in this world is perfect.

Migrating elsewhere can sometimes add to their burden instead of lightening it.

True, there are various reasons for people to migrate. Different people may want to experience different things in life.

But for me, I want to live with my loved ones in Singapore.
