Don't leave water running in sinks

my paper

I WAS saddened to read that Starbucks is wasting 23 million litres of water worldwide daily.

I am also shocked to read that it claims to be environmentally-friendly.

What is the point of using recycled-paper bags and promoting the green cause when the company is wasting so much water, which is a necessity for all living creatures?

I agree with the statement from the National Environment Agency, which notes that running water does not remove micro-organisms adhered to utensils.

I was also disappointed to read that Starbucks fails to understand that what it has done does not prevent the accumulation of bacteria.

I recommend that Starbucks and other similar companies keep a basin filled with an anti-bacterial agent and leave used utensils in the basin.

Should the staff need to use the utensils, they should be thoroughly cleaned to ensure that the agent is removed.

This would be better than leaving the taps running.
