Clean food courts after closing time

I RECENTLY had a bad experience at the food court on the fifth floor of Funan DigitaLife Mall.

My delicious dinner was spoiled by a cleaner, who began cleaning the food court when I was eating at about 9.15pm on Monday. She left a bucket of dirty water next to me as I was dining.

To add to my discomfort, the cleaning made the floor wet and slippery, and the mop the cleaner was using was dripping dirty water all over the floor.

Food-court floors should be cleaned only after closing time, with exceptions to be made only when diners have dropped food or spilt drinks, which might cause inconvenience to others.

I have been patronising Funan DigitaLife Mall for more than 15 years, and am sad about the standard of service at one of my favourite shopping and dining places.

I hope the management of the food court will educate staff on maintaining high levels of service.
