IN RESPONSE to the letter, "Foreigners should be kept at arm's length (The New Paper, Oct 29), I would like to point out that there are many Singaporeans working overseas, and some have even migrated.

So, why does Ms Rachel Lim have to criticise foreigners who are living and working in Singapore?

She should be tolerant, as Singapore has survived and prospered despite the differences among its people.
