Keep NPPs open round the clock
Thu, Nov 06, 2008
my paper

I HAVE a few suggestions to make neighbourhood police posts more effective.

They should be open round the clock, as criminals can strike at any time.

In Farrer Park, where I live, bicycle thefts are becoming more frequent.

Perhaps plainclothes police officers could patrol the area to prevent bike thefts from taking place.
