It's graciousness, not priority seat
Fri, Jun 12, 2009
my paper

I READ the report, "Stop hogging that priority seat!" (my paper, June 1), with amusement, finding myself in agreement with some of the comments.

Credit should be given to the Land Transport Authority and train operators for launching the priority-seat campaign.

However, there seems to be too much emphasis on the seats rather than on graciousness.

For a truly gracious person, any seat - not just a priority seat - should be given up to someone who needs it more.
