Teach vandals a good lesson
Thu, Oct 29, 2009
my paper

THE Government has spent time, money and effort to keep Singapore clean and green.

However, there are still selfish people who go about pasting advertising leaflets at bus stops and on lamp posts, traffic-light posts and building pillars.

This is vandalism, and the culprits should be taught that it is wrong.

A heavy punishment should be meted out to them to teach them a lesson and to stop the situation from getting worse.

Could the authorities do something about the problem?
