Bill-payment dates are location-based
Fri, Oct 30, 2009
my paper

WE REFER to Mr Ivan Lim Chin Hoe's letter, "Push back bill-payment deadline" (my paper, Oct 28).

The payment due date of utility bills is about 14 days after the invoice date.

Due to our large customer base of 1.2 million customers, with over three million utility meters in service, the schedule for meter reading, bill invoicing and bill delivery is carried out throughout the month, according to locations.

Hence, the due date of utility bills is not the same for all customers.

We request Mr Lim to contact us on 6732-9764 so we can better understand his concern and provide appropriate assistance.
