Reward those who accept SMS ads

my paper

By Mr Allan Tan

I AM a customer of SingTel and Courts, and I receive SMS advertisements from these two organisations quite regularly.

As I have to open the SMSes, I consider these advertisements an intrusion.

For people who do not mind receiving the SMSes, the organisations should consider rewarding such obliging customers, as such low-cost advertising would result in some savings for the organisations.
