LEWIS Hamilton is not the most-liked driver in Formula One today and probably has more fans against him than for him. Last season in his rookie year, he made millions of fans with his brilliant driving and was always willing to entertain the media, unlike last year's champion, Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen. But this season, some dirty and aggressive driving has turned many against the newly-crowned world champion. Many racer-friends of mine have complained about his driving style and his cockiness on the track this season. Even Hamilton's fellow F1 drivers complained about his moves during the wet Italian Grand Prix. But this 'dirty' driving is extremely common in motor racing. Previous Formula One greats before Hamilton, like Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher had it too. Aggressiveness It's this aggressiveness that I love about Hamilton. He makes every race exciting and it takes exceptional talent to drive like him. And at the end of the day, he is still better than any of the other drivers, especially with the media. So as F1 business supremo Bernie Ecclestone has said, Hamilton is the 'complete package' as he is quick on track and friendly off the track. Ecclestone has said he will bring F1 to a bigger audience the same way David Beckham has done for football, Tiger Woods for golf and Maria Sharapova for tennis. Already, viewership has more then doubled since 2006, before Hamilton's arrival. Hamilton has proven he is possibly the next Michael Schumacher (who won a record seven F1 titles). Hamilton could do so, but in the next two years, it's not going to be easy. Apart from the strong Ferrari pair of Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen, there's still the lurking Fernando Alonso, Robert Kubica and even younger talent like Sebastian Vettel coming up nicely.
