THIS week's Team of The Week is nothing short of scintillating. We can proudly boast at having the best players in the world in the line up, including some rising stars in the shape of Werder Bremen's wunderkind Mesut Ozil and Santos' Neymar. Viewers on SingTel's Football Frenzy will have seen myself presenting Werder Bremen a couple of times already this season. Often, my guest and expert pundit, Abbas Saad, can never talk highly enough of Ozil. Of Turkish descent, this German international is a highly coveted player and at 21 years of age, he already has vast experience. Another name in the making is Santos' Neymar who bagged a brace over the weekend. The 17-year-old is being talked about as the next Robinho. Indeed, two years ago Manchester United were said to be after him and it was thought that Real Madrid had signed a pre-contract agreement for his services - a deal that never came through. Elsewhere, there is an all French Ligue backline today with two Argentinians and a Malian. Ronaldinho, Francesco Totti and Nilmar provide some experience and class while Jermaine Defoe can show the rest of them how to finish. So it's a 3-5-2 formation this week. GOALKEEPER RENE ADLER (Bayer Leverkusen) PRODUCED a number of fine saves against struggling Bayern Munich as Louis van Gaal's side slipped to their fourth draw at the Allianz Arena. Leverkusen, meanwhile, moved back to the top of the Bundesliga. DEFENDERS GABRIEL HEIZE (Marseille) A 1-0 WIN for Marseille over fierce rivals PSG with Heinze, playing as a centre-back, stealing in to head in the winner. Kept PSG striker Mevlut Erding quiet all night too. FRANCO SOSA (Lorient) AN ARGENTINE playing in France in his first year, Sosa grabbed a goal against St Etienne and put in a fine performance at right-back to help Lorient to fourth place in the French Ligue. ADAMA COULIBALY (Auxerre) AUXERRE made it seven wins out of seven with Coulibaly, a Malian international, scoring on the stroke of half-time to help his side take advantage of Bordeaux's slip-up and put his side top of the league. MIDFIELDERS CARLOS MARCHENA (Valencia) VALENCIA remain on the coat-tails of the pacesetters in La Liga with Marchena instrumental in their 3-1 win against Osasuna. Set up David Villa and produced a magnificent strike of his own. RONALDINHO (AC Milan) BACK to his best in a thrilling 4-3 home win over Cagliari. Set up the third and scored the winner from the penalty spot. The tricks and flicks are back! MESUT OZIL (Werder Bremen) WATCH out for this teenage sensation who is surely going to be one of the best players in the world in the future. Ozil set up four goals and scored one as Bremen thrashed Freiburg 6-0. NEYMAR DA SILVA SANTOS JUNIOR (Santos) MARK my words, Neymar will be a household name in five years. The Brazilian Under-17 international is wanted by Manchester United, AC Milan , Real Madrid, Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea. Neymar scored two goals against Cortiba. He is only 17 and is already a crowd favourite with Santos. FRANCESCO TOTTI (Roma) RETURNING from injury and playing for the first time in over a month, Totti bagged a hat-trick in his side's 3-1 win over Bari and his strikes were nothing short of world class. STRIKERS JERMAINE DEFOE (Tottenham) CAN YOU name the other two strikers who have scored five goals in a Premier League game? Defoe, hailed as the best finisher in England was five-star against Wigan - joining Alan Shearer and Andy Cole in the history books. NILMAR (Villarreal) VILLARREAL look to be back to their best with record-signing Nilmar getting on the scoresheet twice against Osasuna after scoring for Brazil against England.
