All I want for Christmas is a stupid gift
Wed, Dec 05, 2007
The Straits Times

A Hillary Clinton nutcracker (right), Mother Theresa breath spray and a screaming rubber chicken are just some of the odd gifts people can buy this Christmas. Website Stupid.com is dedicated to finding the most idiotic gifts, claiming that while finding the perfect Christmas gift is difficult, finding a truly stupid gift is an art form.

The Hillary Clinton device takes a crack at the former US first lady's tough image. The current US senator is leading the pack of Democrats vying to be the party's candidate for next year's presidential election.

It is among the merchandise Stupid.com founder Gary Apple has been sourcing in a bid to cash in on this year's holiday season.

Last year, shoppers spent nearly US$1 million (S$1.45 million) on bizarre gifts from the company, and Mr Apple expects to shatter that record with this year's list.
