Bukit Gombak Trail closed for public safety
Sat, Oct 13, 2007
The Straits Times
I REFER to the letter, 'Reopen Gombak Trail after repairs' (ST, Oct 8), and thank the writer for the feedback.

The Bukit Gombak Trail was badly affected by landslides last year. In the interest of public safety, we regret that the trail has to be closed permanently.

Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to find another route that meets our safety standards.

We would like to encourage park users to use other green spaces in the vicinity, such as Bukit Batok Nature Park, Bukit Batok Town Park and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

For further feedback, the writer is welcome to contact us at our Helpline on 1800-471-7300 or e-mail: NParks_Public_Affairs@NParks.gov.sg .
