SEPTEMBER is traditionally a brisk trading month, and traders are hoping that this year will be no exception.
As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, traders are hopeful that the good cheer will rub off on the lethargic regional bourses, after a woeful August.
After all, it was in mid-September last year that global bourses staged a spectacular rally, after the United States central bank trimmed short-term interest rates - its first cut in nearly four years - to calm the storm then threatening to undermine the international financial system.
