Beijing - Theresa Goh sits at the dining table in her Paralympics Village apartment.

It is just days before the biggest swim meet of her life, but she prefers not to think about the Paralympics, or that she is tipped to be the first Singaporean to win a Paralympic medal.

Instead, she focuses her attention on cutting out intricate designs of paper for a robot model - her way of taking her mind off the hectic week ahead.
