Goh sixth in 100m free

BEIJING: Singapore swimmer Theresa Goh finished sixth in the Paralympics 100m freestyle S5 final at the Water Cube in Beijing last night.

She set a new national record of 1min 32.92sec to better the previous mark of 1:33:20, which she had set in the morning heats yesterday.

Prior to that, her national record stood at 1:33.62, set at the Fespic Games - the Asian Games equivalent for disabled athletes - in 2006.
