India miffed with China over N-deal

NEW DELHI: When Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi arrives in New Delhi today on an official visit, he should expect a less than warm welcome.

Despite the end of the 34-year embargo on nuclear trade with India on Saturday, New Delhi is miffed with China's attempt to scuttle the deal.

During the Nuclear Suppliers Group's (NSG) meeting in Vienna, China had surprisingly threatened to leave, objecting to the manner in which the United States was 'forcing' a consensus.
