Thai tourism hit hard by unrest

>The number of international arrivals in recent weeks has fallen by 70 per cent - with Chinese tourists leading the cancellations. Hotel room occupancy has also dropped by 30 to 40 per cent.

Thailand's tourism industry has been hit hard as its economy takes a hit from the political crisis. In monetary terms, the loss to tourism and related service industries has been estimated at more than 42 billion baht.
