Maids chat up male Bangladeshi workers when there's no dormitory
Sat, Sep 13, 2008
The Straits Times
>MR VINCENT LOO: 'We are not talking about 100 workers. These are a few hundred or maybe 1,000 workers. Their culture and behaviour are different from those of expatriates. One example is my neighbour's young maid, who got pregnant and her employer had to send her home.

Her employers were usually not in and she would sneak out and return by taxi. Another example is my friend who goes out every Saturday night. After they leave, the maid also goes out and returns about 5am when her employers are asleep.

On many occasions, I see maids chatting up male Bangladeshi workers, even when there is no dormitory. What will happen if the dormitory is established?'
