Bags of tokens and jackpot machines were seized yesterday evening in a raid on an illegal gambling den by undercover police officers.

SQ Mobile in MacPherson Road had looked like a regular mobile phone shop but behind some partitions and on the floor above, a different kind of business was going on.

Officers raided its premises and arrested more than 30 people for illegal gambling. Two men were later handcuffed and led to a waiting police van. Some 14 jackpot machines and 20 computers were seized.
